This beautiful, French Communion medal is hallmarked for 800-900 quality silver. It is dated for 1902.
It measures 15/16” (2.3cms) across and weighs a substantial 4.7 grams.
The raised silver chalice sits within a gothic shaped cross. Around the outside is a pretty, curved and pierced frame.
At the top is a ring which carries the boar’s head French hallmark for 800-900 silver quality. There is a bail for a chain.
On the back is a monogram and the date ’25 mai 1902’.
In fine antique condition, this unusual and very solid pendant will arrive in a gift box.
