TINY AND VERY SWEET porcelain or bisque baby doll with a little heart shaped open mouth. She has moveable cord tied arms and legs. Her little knees are bent and she can sit or lay down. Baby has a colored patch of textured hair on her head, hand painted eyes and tiny red painted lips. Baby's cheeks have a light blush of color. Baby is dressed in a tiny checked romper suit that ties in the front and has a matching bonnet with lace trim. It looks homemade and there is another piece of matching fabric that looks like it was a gathered skirt. Fabric is 10 1/2" Diameter by 2" Length. She is marked "Japan" on the back of her neck.
CONDITION: GOOD! Arms and legs are tight and good. There has been a tag just above the "Japan" that left a slight stain (?). Her little head has an unpainted white spot, but I do not see any cracks or chips.
CIRCA: 1950'S (?)
SIZE: 5 3/4" Tall (top of head to tip of toes) by 2 1/2" Wide (Knee to Knee)
