GENE AUTRY, 1953, comic book with the title: "The City Slickers"! This comic has a full color portrait photograph of Gene on the front and "Spark up with Wheaties" baseball great George Kell of the Boston Red Sox on the back. This age of western comic books were read front to back and treasured by the 1950's youth (boys and girls alike). They served as lessons to do good, be good and good will always prevail over the bad every time. This comic is a 52 page magazine, meaning more suspense and excitement! Two additional short stores at the back
CONDITION: GREAT!!! Comic has been read, but pages are strong and intact. There are a few light dings (?) on the front cover, and the bottom left edge has a small piece of the cover missing. No writing, drawings or markings. Pages have normal age discoloring. No odors of any type. Would frame nicely.
