HARDBACK BOOK TITLED "WHEN KANSAS WAS YOUNG" written by T.A. McNeal. The book was published as a second edition by The Capper Publications, Topeka, Kansas, in 1934. The first edition was published in 1922. The book features a table of contents, and is not written as fiction, but more of a historical overview. It begins with the Native American Indians and continues through slavery, frontier towns, cattle drives, inventions, and outlaws. Kansas has had a long, colorful history and this book presents all major historical events as an I witness. Book is 287 pages in length.
CONDITION: GOOD! Light cover fading, very light soiling, spine is strong, no writing, doodling, underlining or coloring inside the book. The top of the exterior spine has light fraying of the fabric cover. Pages are showing color aging but are strong and all are present.
