AtoZ Antiques & Collectibles
is now SALE PENDINGTHREE BEAUTIFUL photograph postcards of Native American Navajo Pueblo people. The original photographs were taken by Laura Gilpin, a photographer born in 1891. She became well known for her native Colorado and southwestern landscape photographs and later for her wonderful photographs of the pueblo and Navajo people. A female photographer had to be quite an adventure seeker to go out and seek subject matter on her own during this time period. She published several books featuring her work, but became best known for her 1968 book, "The Enduring Navajo". These 3 images appeared in this book. The images are printed on a beautiful ivory card stock by The Meriden Gravure Company in Conn. The copy of the article shown has a second page and I will include the copies with your order.
CONDITION: All 3 are unused, have just the normal amount of light age wear on corners. Please look at item photographs for details. They are clean, no marks, no odors and no stains. Very frameable!
Thank you for your interest! Photographs usually come in hard and soft acid free sleeves in a hard back envelope and First Class. If you wish them to come in a Priority Mail Box, that is the second option on shipping. We try our best to protect images!
