TWO HARDBACK books written by B.M. Bower, also known as B.M. Sinclair, the first is The Long Shadow. This is the red book in the photograph and it is a beautiful book! The exterior cover is embossed with a cowboy, his horse and of course his girlfriend in the distance. The book's cover is romantic early 1900's western and it would look wonderful laid on a table or stood up where the cover could be viewed. The book is 320 pages in length and is exciting fiction. The inside cover of the book has a card holder (no card and no numbers) and an 1800's hand written inscription with a date of 1919. The copyright is 1908, by Grosset & Dunlap in New York. The illustrations are by Clarence Rowe. The condition on this book is very good! No coloring, marking, tearing, or doodling. Cover is lightly faded, spine is strong, no loose pages, very slight corner and edge fraying of fabric and pages have aged. The pages are not brittle or fragile.
The second book by Bower is "The Trail of The White Mule". The exterior cover is an olive green with orange and black accents. The book is 278 pages of exciting western fiction. Book is clean, no writing, marks, doodling, coloring, loose pages or other damage. The spine is strong, very slight dings on corners and edges. The frontispiece illustration is by Frank Tenney Johnson. Book was published in Boston by Little, Brown, and Company in 1922. Copyright is 1922 and publishing date is September 1922. The pages have aged, but they are not brittle or fragile.
