I am very pleased to offer this Circa 1970's DeLizza & Elster flower pin. This pin is absolutely stunning.
The silver tone stem is beautifully textured and has two leaves wrapping around it. There is a lot of movement depicted in this design. The five petals are lovely baby blue pear/tear shaped faceted crystals with tiny Montana blue aurora borealis chatons connecting them. The center of the flower has a nearly 3/4" round faceted aurora borealis chaton framed with a circle of the tiny aurora borealis chatons.
There are no glued stones. This pin is handmade as evidenced by the soldering and each stone has been individually prong set. It has all stones set with four claw like prongs, soldered wire reinforcements, joint and catch pin back, quality stones and stacked structure, all indicative of DeLizza and Elster.
The pin is in very nice condition with only the aurora borealis coating showing very minor wear expected to be found on vintage jewelry having been lovingly worn and well protected. Please use the zoom feature to see close up the condition of this pin. The pin flower is 2" diameter and the entire pin is 4 1/8" long.
This is a very lovely and substantial piece weighing 36.2 grams. I have taken several photos of it in different lighting to show the prism of colors that you can expect.
It is a most beautiful piece and is timeless in design and the beauty of this pin can only be appreciated by viewing it personally.
