An Extremely Rare and Exquisite Antique Stippel Engraving dating to the late 1700s (1781). It is by the Renowned Artists George Sigmund Facius & Johann Gottleib Facius and is titled Charity. This is from the Famous Stained Glass Windows at Oxford in England which depict the Seven Virtues. The Lovely Engraving portrays a Beautiful Woman clasping three small Children and Holding them close. Extensive writing on the bottom of the piece which needs to be read with a magnifying glass. The Mark at bottom reads Oxford "Manners Mayketh Man". This large piece is in outstanding condition for its age, small water stain at bottom, some tears in the matting but none in the image. The Piece has been housed in a large modern frame for safety. There is another of these engravings in the Philadelphia Museum of art. This Piece , including Frame measures 30" x 22" inches. An Exceptional and rare Museum Worthy piece!
