Born 1943 in Philadelphia, John Lewis Egenstafer studied art at Glassborough College in New Jersey. A follower of the style of American realism, his paintings convey the feeling and the atmosphere of the Mid West plains. He is a member of the British Royal Art Society and was Dean of Instructors at the township of Franklin College.
This painting is signed lower right and dated 1968. Frame measures 15" x 13", 1 1/2" deep. Painting itself measures 10" x 8" .
