It is only fitting that the maven of purse design, Judith Leiber, should create a charm bracelet dedicated exclusively to handbags. Judith Leiber created a line of exquisite jewelry that reflected her attention to detail, creativity, superb craftsmanship and more. THis bracelet is an example of that. It is goldtone chain link that I believe is called a Byzantine chain since it looks to be a 4 in 1 chain, that is, each link passes through 4 others (kind of like a box chain). The gold tone is bright and shiny. Whatever the name, the bracelet itself is dynamic, chunky, thick and special. THere are five small "purse" charms that dangle from the chain by means of jump rings. THey give the bracelet fluidity and movement. THere colors are ruby red, emerald green, burnt orange, lemon yellow and chocolate brown. THere is a basket purse, a kelly bag, a box bag, an envelope bag and a doctor's bag. (Sh.h.h....one bag looks like a Hermes bag but no, that couldn't be!) The bags are defined by goldtone metal and all have decorative handles and trim. They appear to be enameled. There is a translucent quality to them since you can see a pattern through the color. Another added element that contributes to the majesty of the bag. THe charms naturally are three dimensional. The bracelet closes with a lobster closure. "Judith Leiber" is engraved into the panel that slips into the claw. THe bracelet measures 7 3/4" long. There are no issues with this bracelet, it looks almost brand new. It is wonderful to see these tiny purses dangling from a wrist. What a sight for a purse collector or any fashionista who loves purses. And it can be worn along side one's favorite purse!!!!! Doesn't get much better than this! COndition: Excellent VINTAGE Condition
