Offering a vintage choker necklace by Lanvin made in Paris, circa 1970's. The Lanvin fashion house is an icon in the fashion industry known for its sophisticated designs that are often just "on the edge." It is the oldest fashion house in Paris and has managed to remain one of the most relevant. It has stayed true to its founder, Madame Jeanne Lanvin, by maintaining her values of expert craftsmanship and impeccable ornamentation. Through the years Lanvin has had many designers and it continues to be a fashion house whose creations are highly sought after. THis necklace is of the choker style measuring 15 1/2" in total length. The box chain is a bright goldtone and its quality suggests "the real thing." In the center of the necklace is the Lanvin logo, the double "L's". The logo is horizontally placed and it measures 1" x 1/2". The color of the enameling is an adobe rust (with lots of deep red in it) and forest green. It is enameled on both sides and is encased in bright goldtone. The closure is a simple open/shut mechanism and the Lanvin tag, "Lanvin Paris", is attached. There are no issues with this necklace, appears to have been seldom worn. Sometimes when wearing other longer necklaces, a choker length necklace completes the look. This Lanvin choker could be it: simple sophistication. Or, worn alone, simple sophistication again! Condition: Excellent VIntage Condition
