Offering a vintage demi parure consisting of a brooch and earrings designed by a company with the mark CRc circa 1950's. THe only information I could find about this company is that it was founded by Emanuel Cohn and Gerald Rosenberg in the early 20th century. It is the mark of Reis company, circa 1950's. No matter what, this set is high quality, striking and designed with a "deco" flair to it. It is made of a dark goldtone metal which is marked gold filled 1/20 12k. All pieces are made to resemble a spray of flowers with the metal swirling and curling in ribbon like fashion. In the middle of these "ribbons" are pave rhinestones set in an oval shape in the brooch, and a round shape in the earrings. The most lovely part of the set is the use of small glass rhinestones that are colored sparkling aquamarine, pigeon blood ruby and deep sapphire. The jewels represent the buds and flowers of the spray. They shine, sparkle and glimmer. The pieces are dimensional being layered in design. This design resembles similar pieces made by Rosenstein and Tiffany's. THe brooch measures 2 3/4"h x 2 1/4"w, the earrings (screw in type) are 1"h x 1/2"w. The set is in very good condition. The only issue is that the goldtone metal is not consistently shiny. No big deal, adds to the patina of the set. A lovely set to wear when you want to "return" to the 40's or 50's.
