Wearing a strand of faux pearls is a statement in itself. Wearing a strand of faux pearls that has embellishments of jewels is even more than a statement. Wearing a strand of faux pearls that is made by Lanvin, well, that is the ultimate!!! This best describes this marvelous strand of faux pearls made by the fashion house of Lanvin, the oldest fashion house in France. Lanvin was created by Jean Lanvin who insisted on adherence to a higher standard of quality and excellence. This standard still exists today and is evidence in this lovely necklace. The pearls are a light cream color and they has an opalescent luster. Their sheen contributes to the beauty of the faux pearls. The size of the pearls are that of a pea. There are 3 accent segments of glass jewels each measuring 1 5/8" in length. There are two on the sides and one in the middle. The middle accent consists of 3 round glass beads that have a tiger's eye look, 2 small round gold tone beads and 2 aurora borealis roundels. The accents on the side are a little different with two large tiger eye glass rounds integrated with three aurora borealis roundels. These accents give the necklace a little piazzazz without being too glitzy. There is a large flip up clasp that opens and closes the necklace. There is a gold tone attached tag stating "Lanvin Paris." The necklace has recently been restrung. It is in great condition without any issues to site. The total length of the necklace is 29 1/4", with a drop of 14". The necklace is very versatile, can be dressed up or down. Imagine the "popping" effect of the jeweled accents when worn with all beige or white. Just gorgeous! A timeless piece by none other than Lanvin! Condition: Excellent VINTAGE Condition
