At the end of the last century Jane Goldban created a company called "Revivals" which specialized in making "marriages" between vintage/antique purse parts and newly created purse bags. All bags were skillfully made and expertly styled. They were sold in exclusive department stores and boutiques and were very "pricey." Although this particular purse does not combine vintage elements with new, it does have a mid century vibe and is done with the skill and style that "Revivals" is known for. It is done in the kelly bag style. It is done in a luxurious and soft satin material. There is a slight sheen to the fabric. The color is a statement Christmas red. It is bold and striking. There is a fold over flap with small red rosettes sewn onto the border of the flap. The small flowers are multi layered and give the bag a very romantic and feminine appeal. They are not flat and provide dimension and depth to the bag. There is a semi rigid half moon carry handle done in the red satin. The drop is 4 3/4". The bag closes with a snap closure. The inside is lined with the same red satin fabric. The sewn in "Jane Goldban for Revivals" label is inside. The inside is in wonderful condition since this bag was never used. The paper "Revivals" tag is still attached as is part of the original price tag. The bag measures 6 1/2"w x 6 1/2"h x 1 1/2"d. The entire bag is in mint condition. If you need a red bag for an outfit or an occasion or if you just love the color red as I do, then this sweet bag is for you. Never been worn with its original tags still attached, this bag is retro and striking and so affordable!!!!! Condition: MINT Excellent VINTAGE Condition
