This striking necklace by YSL is bold and daring. Probably created in the 1970's, its designer, YSL, has remained a giant force in the ladies fashion world. The necklace gives a chunky appearance even though faux pearls are used in its design. The faux pearls are about the size of a small marble and they are milk white with a wonderful luster. Between every two imitation pearls there is a large (size of a small mushroom) glass deep forest green bead. This bead has a squat look and it is marbleized. They are shiny and the effect of the forest green color with streaks of yellow add to the interest of the necklace. This bead has a silver tone cap that is scalloped against the bead. This gives the necklace a subtle feminine touch. There is an extender chain made of matte silver tone metal that is decorative. There is a hook to close the piece. A YSL pull tag hangs from the extender chain. The necklace measures 18" with an extender/hook an additional 4+", totally 22". The necklace is in great condition without any issues. This is a versatile necklace that is meant to be seen by an iconic designer. That says it all!!!!! Condition: Excellent VINTAGE Condition
