Miriam Haskell is to vintage jewelry what Judith Leiber is to vintage bags: a master. With a reputation that transcends time, Haskell jewelry is highly valuable and collectible for good reason. All her creations are perfected with great skill and craftsmanship and many of her pieces have that distinct "Haskell look". Looking at this multi strand necklace, you can see these Haskell touches. There are four strands of shiny milk glass beads separated by tiny baroque multi faceted beads. The strands have a pattern of rhinestone encrusted rondels separating sets of three white beads. There are 5 of these sets on the bottom strand, 4 on the next, then 3 and ending with 2 sets on the top strand. This decorative pattern of rondels and milk glass provide interest and beauty to the necklace. The strands connect to a decorative filigree look piece on each end. Milk glass beads form a flower cluster on the top of these open work pieces. There is an beaded extender chain and the necklace closes with a large hook that has "Miriam Haskell" imprinted on it. The hook also has a floral cluster of small white beads, a typical Haskell extra touch. The necklace is in great condition. The shortest strand is 11 1/2" while the longest is 15". The entire necklace is approximately 17" which includes the 3" extender chain. When worn the necklace has a bib effect. A white necklace is a staple for every fashionista's jewelry box. A multi strand milk glass necklace with rhinestone accents by Miriam Haskell is every well adorned gal's dream!!!! Condition: Excellent VINTAGE Condition
