This shiny gold tone chain link bracelet by YSL circa 1970's, is a staple for every woman's wrist. Created by Yves Saint Laurent, a French icon in fashion design, this bracelet "shouts" class and elegance. Although just a simple chain link bracelet, just by looking at it, you know it was created by someone who understands women and their jewelry preferences. It consists of oversized classical curb links, These links are a modified oval shape and are thicker at the sides than the top/bottom where each link connects to the next. There is a slight concave element to each link. THey are thick and chunky and highly stylized. The links are not flat but have highs and lows to them when touched. The metal has a shiny gold tone plating and all links are articulated so that the bracelet fits nicely on one's wrist. The bracelet closes with a down/up tab that opens and closes the bracelet. The underside is a brushed gold tone and the YSL cartouche is on the bottom of the closing link. The bracelet measures 7 1/4"w x 1"h. Each link is 1 1/2" x 1".There are no significant issues to state. The spot where the links inter lock shows metal wear but this cant be seen since it is underneath the connection. Many ladies wear chain link bracelets. However, how many can state that their bracelet was designed by the genius YSL? Even if you don't mention his name, it is so very obvious by looking at it, that this bracelet was created by a top notch designer, YSL no less!!!!!! COndition: Excellent VINTAGE Condition
