If you are looking for perfection, then Lanvin is the place to turn. Lanvin, the oldest fashion house in France, has always adhered to its founder's high standards and consequently has maintained a sterling reputation. This lovely set consists of a clamper bracelet and large disc earrings dates to the 1970's. It does not look new and has a definite patina. However, to me, this enhances the beauty of the item since I am not looking for new. THe set is done in a pale yellow enamel. I don't know whether this was the original color or it has faded over time. It could use a cleaning but I am leaving that up to the buyer. Over the enamel are veins of thick silver lines that meander throughout both the bracelet and the earrings. They are raised and curvy. There are small silver studs set on top of the surface. The most interesting aspect of this set are the bright Kelly green glass cabochons that are bezel set throughout the pieces. THey are varied in size and "pop" out. The combination of the silver "threads", the silver studs and the green cabochons create a trendy interesting French set with an abstract twist. The inside of the bracelet is brushed silver and the Lanvin Paris cartouche is inside. THe bracelet closes with a push in mechanism and there is a sturdy hinge on the other side. It measures an inner diameter of 2 1/4" the outer diameter is 2 7/8". The wall is 3/4". It fits my M-L wrist. THe earrings are a large disc shape with a diameter of 1 3/8". The backs are flat and they are clip-ons. The "Lanvin Paris"cartouche is on the back of one of the earrings. Other than the "patina" of the set, there are no issues. If you want something that looks new, please do NOT buy. However, if you appreciate the aging process in all things, then you will love this set. It is cool, trendy, unusual and LANVIN!
