'A Collection of Stories of Haunted Houses, Apparitions and Supernatural Occurrences made by Charles Lindley, Viscount Halifax, With an Introduction by Viscount Halifax, K.G.'
Printed by Geoffrey Bles, Two Manchester Square, London.
This must have been a publishing success, because it was first published in October 1936 and reprinted in November 1936.
The stories collected over many years by Charles Lindley, Viscount Halifax, have been arranged for printing by his son, also, of course, Lord Halifax. These are not fictional tales, but actual reports by real people that he had collected over the years. A fascinating book which his son was right to publish.
About 8.75 by 6.75 inches; 244pp; printed on nice thick paper; black cloth cover. Please take a look at all the full-sized photos.
