Victorian 'Spy' Print from Vanity Fair: Samuel Smiles: 'Self Help': 1882Victorian 'Spy' Print from Vanity Fair: Samuel Smiles: 'Self Help': 1882

A Large Victorian 'Spy' lithographic print from 'Vanity Fair', portraying, no doubt, Samuel Smiles, the author of the very popular book 'Self Help'. Printed by Vincent Brooks, Day & Son and published in January 1882.

Although slightly tattered around the edges, any such damage would easily be covered by the mat, and the image itself is in very good condition. The overall paper size is about 14.8 by 10.5 inches and the actual image size is about 12.25 by 7.3 inches.

A cheery Victorian gentleman to adorn your wall - he really does live up to his name!
