Retro 1950s Eugene 9 Strand Turquoise White Glass Bead Necklace Bridal
Striking retro vintage torsade choker necklace by Eugene Schultz, who signed his jewelry between 1952 and 1962, making it easy to date. It is thought that he worked for Miriam Haskell, and you can see why in this design. The centerpiece is elaborately, painstakingly and labor intensively hand wired, and has components that echo those of the strands of beads, a lovely effect that unifies the piece. It is perfect for Spring and Summer, as well as for the vintage loving bride, with its something blue. Signed Eugene on the cartouche on the back of the necklace. Wearable length is 16 1/4 inches without twist; slightly shorter with torsade twist. This charming retro era vintage necklace is very fresh looking and is in excellent condition.
