Jerry Fel's Renoir jewelry and his later Matisse line featuring enamel work dominated the copper genre from about 1946 to 1964. Along with Frank Rebajes, two of the most well known masters of the trade. Renoir's domed clip earrings presented are in the so called "Mesh" design, circa 1950s-1960s. A necklace, bracelet and earrings in this pattern can be seen on page 106 of the wonderful book "Copper Art Jewelry A Different Lustre" by Kaplan and Burkholz.
The earrings measure approximately 1 1/16 inches x 9/16 inches with a 7/16 inch profile or dome. Weight of the earrings pair is approximately 20 grams.
