Aquamarine chatons and molded glass leaves pair with aurora borealis chaton rhinestones in these marvelous '50s vintage silver tone clip earrings by Weiss, circa 1950s. Round brilliant rhinestones are pie crust prong set in deep, closed back cups while molded leaves are traditionally prong set, a tier above the chatons. All rhinestones are medium to large size. Leaves are superbly molded and foil backed for optimum dimension and iridescent glow.
The earrings measure about 1 inch x 1 inch with a generous 1/2 inch profile or height. Molded glass leaves are approximately 15 millimeters x 12 millimeters; largest chatons, about 11 millimeters. Weight of the earrings are approximately 16 grams.
