Four high pegged rosettes, each set with red, blue, green and amethyst colored chaton rhinestones blossom in this wonderful Deco era golden finished pot metal bouquet brooch. Five leafy sprays jut out, each embellished with a pair of clear chaton rhinestones. Period pot metal and signature small tabled rhinestones reflect a 1930s production date. Beautifully preserved, the generously sized brooch retains all it's original components and rhinestones. Totally complete and correct.
The brooch measures about 3 1/4 inches x 2 inches at it's widest point with a maximum 9/16 inch profile or height. Blossom or rosette chaton rhinestones are approximately 5 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is about 28 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones original and intact, retaining color and sparkle. "White" rhinestones uniformly clear and brilliant. Please do consider that the stones are original and will not appear as new. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones. Gold tone finish intact, front and back with slight wear to contact points on reverse. Pot metal free from dents, improper bends, crush or collapse. Rosettes retain loft and shape. Pin mechanism strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Minimal age commensurate wear. Excellent vintage.
The brooch is not signed. Design, materials, construction and overall presentation indicate a 1930s vintage.
