Kramer of New York adorned clients from circa 1943-1980. The family run company worked with a wide range of materials including rhinestones, specialty stones, glass, plastic and in the set presented, enamel. Beautiful powder coat enamels in pastel pink, blue, lavender, and green embellish the spiky sprays in the brooch and leafy spears in the matching clip earrings. The gold tone bouquet is gathered / wrapped with a silvery gray ribbon banner. Long, tall shoots bearing colorful blossoms sprout above. Earrings mimic the theme, each with a trio of colored spears.
The brooch measures an impressive 3 7/8 inches long x 1 5/8 inches at it's widest point with a 3/8 inch profile or height. Clips earrings are approximately 7/8 inch x 5/8 inch. Weight of the brooch and earrings set is about 22 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. Pastel enamel colors intact. Gold tone finish intact, fronts and backs. Soldering secure. No dents or improper bends to metal. Pin mechanism / earring clips strong and secure. Extremely clean. Minimal wear. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
Each original earring clip is signed: "KRAMER" followed by copyright symbol. Brooch signed on reverse within an oblong cartouche: "KRAMER" followed by copyright symbol. The set dates circa 1960s.
