Clusters of pink Moonglow beads are entwined with vines in Rhodium plated faux cut steel beading in this '60s vintage necklace and earrings set from Kramer. Lucite beads have the look of mother of pearl with a creamy translucent glow. Rhodium plating adds the high gloss sheen and anodized faux cut steel beading, the definition. Beautifully designed and executed by the venerable Kramer of New York company, active from 1943 to 1979-'80.
The demi includes the necklace, adjustable to about 16 inches with hook type closure and ball charmed extension chain. The decorative links span about 11 1/2 inches for interrupted coverage. Width is approximately 3/4 inch. Complementing the necklace are the clip earrings at about 1 1/16 inches x 1 inch.
Condition of the set is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. Lucite moonglow beads retain great pinkish color with super translucent glow. All rhodium plating intact, front and back. Tiny bit of wear on earring clip contact points. Anodized vines retain patinated look with shiny beaded highlights. Earring clips original and secure. No damage / no repairs.
Reverse of end necklace link at hook side signed 'KRAMER". Circle cartouche with copyright symbol also soldered to reverse of link. Each earring clip is signed "KRAMER" with copyright symbol following. One of the earring body backs is also signed "KRAMER" with circle cartouche containing the copyright symbol.
Kramer's clusters of moonglow berries wrapped in rhodium vines. What better way to enjoy the vintage advantage.
