Triple baguette rhinestone squares in alternating jet black and crystal clear exemplify the geometrics and black and "white" color scheme of the Art Deco period in this '30s vintage sterling silver link bracelet. Three long glass baguettes are formed into one piece squares, each prong set into a partially open backed basket type setting. Black glass is unfoiled while clear sections are enhanced with foiling. The eight sections are secured with an embossed push in box clasp.
The bracelet is maiden sized to fit a wrist approximately 6 - 6 1/4 inches. Please keep this in mind when considering. Width is about 5/8 inch with a 3/16 profile or thickness. Each square baguette section is approximately 12 millimeters. Weight of the bracelet is about 14 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All glass baguette sections free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. Black glass maintains jet black luster while "white" sections retain clear, uniform brilliance -- no dark, yellow, gray, cloudy or dead stones. All jump rings / connections secure. No dents or improper bends to settings. Push in box clasp strong and secure. The bracelet has not been polished so patina is evident. Polishing is left to the buyer's discretion. No damage / no repairs. Clean. Excellent vintage.
Reverse of clasp is signed: "STERLING". No additional markings are evident. The bracelet is authentic vintage. It dates circa 1930s.
