Circa 1950, Haskell's brass tone, oval hinged bangle is laden with individually wired opaque, purple glass tube (bugle) beads, end capped with golden metal beads. The faceted and polished glass beads extend around the entire circumference of the bracelet for uninterrupted sparkle and sheen. Bracelet opens via a side hinge and is secured by a push in box clasp and original detachable safety chain. Stack it or go solo. Haskell's beaded bangle goes it alone or welcomes the company.
Inside circumference is about 6 1/2 inches x 3/8 inch wide with a 1/4 inch thickness. Tube beads range from about 4 to 5 millimeters. Weight of the bracelet is approximately 20 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components correct and intact. All beads intact. No loose or pulled beads. No discolored or off beads. Flanking golden metal end beads have some play, allowing their positions to change slightly. Bangle retains it's oval shape with no dents or improper bends. Correct alignment and secure, snap shut closure. Safety chain strong and secure. Metal has acquired a warm, brass tone patina -- no polishing. No verdigris. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
Inside of bracelet is signed within an oval plaque: "MIRIAM HASKELL". It dates circa 1950s.
