Rich, warm topaz colored marquise and chaton rhinestones pair in this '60s vintage gold tone necklace and earrings set. The necklace consists of bilateral rhinestone chains doubling in garland / festoon drapes culminating in an asymmetrical cluster of sparkling rhinestones. Matching clip climber earrings follow the ear up in a modified crescent design. Topaz color dominates throughout.
The necklace is adjustable to about 15 1/4 inches with rhinestone embellished hook closure. Decorative center (garland end to end) spans approximately 4 inches x 1 1/2 inches at it's widest point. Center cluster measures about 1 1/8 inches x 1 1/2 inches. Earrings are approximately 1 1/8 inches x 5/8 inch. Largest chatons are about 7 millimeters; largest marquises, about 10 millimeters x 5 millimeters. Weight of the necklace and earrings set is approximately 20 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones retain color and brilliance. No off, cloudy, or dead stones. All links and soldering secure. No dents or improper bends. All gold tone finish intact, fronts and backs. Necklace closure and earrings clips strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
