In peridot and white powder coat enamel with shiny gold tone metal highlights, this wonderful, '50s-'60s vintage side hinged wide cuff boasts a large, faceted oval art glass stone in a light peridot color. The stone is surrounded with a white powder coat enamel roping, layered upon a bottom oval tier of peridot powder coat enamel, highlighted with golden swirling foliage. At sides, clouds of oval fretwork fan out onto an embossed peridot matte enameled hinged band. Closure is via push in box type clasp with fixed safety chain.
Bracelet's inside circumference is about 6 3/4 inches. There is an additional two inch gap when opened. Bracelet's widest point is approximately 2 inches while band back is about 5/8 inch. Unfoiled and open backed pronged art glass stone is about 25 millimeters x 18 millimeters. Weight of the bracelet is approximately 50 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stone. No dents, improper bends. All soldering secure. Bracelet retains oval shape, proper alignment and strong and secure clasp and safety chain. Powder coat enamel intact with minimal, age appropriate wear near band back as seen in photo. Front and sides very nice with as created "buffed out" gold tone metal highlights. Bracelet inside retains all gold tone finish. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
The bracelet is not signed. Beautifully designed and made, it dates from circa 1950s-1960s.
