Kramer of New York, a major player in higher quality vintage fashion jewelry, created this beautiful circular rhinestone and bead brooch in rhodium plate, circa 1960s. Chatons, with selected rounds in dentelle facets, emerald and oval cuts are in gorgeous shades of lavender / lilac. Adding an icy dash, clear, round brilliant rhinestones are strategically placed throughout. Creating movement and drama, complimenting colored glass beads dangle above the gently domed brooch. All plated in rich rhodium, truly one of Kramer's top shelf selections.
The brooch measures about 2 inches across with a 5/8 inch profile / dome. Largest center chaton is approximately 11 millimeters. Ovals and emeralds are about 9 millimeters. Faceted glass beads are approximately 7 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is about 36 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones sparkly, with colored stones retaining all even, purplish color. All "white" rhinestones uniformly clear and brilliant. All glass beads free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. All rhodium plate intact, front and back. Soldering secure. Pin mechanism strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs.
