Eisenberg's layered pin wheel style brooch, circa 1940s-1950s, in rich gold tone, is set with two sizes of milk glass marquise cabs topped with a large round white glass cabochon flanked by two swooshes of clear chaton rhinestones. Eisenberg is white on with it's sweeping slants and sparkling swooshes. Crisp, clean movement and momentum.
The brooch measures about 2 inches across with an incredible 3/4 inch profile or height. Largest marquises cabs are approximately 13 millimeters x 5 millimeters. Center round white cab is about 10 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is about 22 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All milk glass cabs intact and free from chips, nicks, flea bites, cracks or breaks. All clean and even white with no stains, veins or discoloration. All rhinestones intact and uniformly clear and brilliant. No dark, cloudy or dead stones. All luxurious gold tone (think golden rhodium) finish intact, front and back. All soldering, including soldered reinforcement bar, neat and secure with no dents, bends or collapse. Pin mechanism strong and secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
Reverse of brooch is signed in block caps within a rectangular cartouche: "EISENBERG" , no copyright symbol. It dates from the late '40s to 1950s.
