At about 2 3/4 inches x 2 5/8 inches with a 3/4 in profile, this 1940s vintage clip was meant to stand on it's own. Sold in singles it would have been positioned at the center of an outfit's neckline. Today, this magnificent clip can be used a brooch or pin would be -- attached to a lapel, pocket, headband, belt, sash, hat, or wherever location your imagination takes you. Our shield shaped clip is constructed with heavy, layered brass tone filigree work and cup set with dentelle faceted, sapphire blue chaton rhinestones with a periphery of small blue accent round brilliants. The stones have a blue velvet glow, deeper and richer without the harshness.
