Trifari's white line (coined summer or cruise jewelry) circa 1950s-'60s was immensely popular in myriad variations. If there was an occasion, Trifari had the jewels to match. Our three piece parure features bilateral necklace and double strand bracelet white Lucite or chalk beads alternating with gold tone spiked / porcupine beads. The necklace culminates with a large spiked gold tone crown suspended with luxurious stands of golden fringe. Clip earrings compliment with white Lucite half domes encircled with spiked gold tone.
The necklace is a wearable, fixed approximate 24 inches with fold over clasp. The tassel pendant provides an additional 4 inches for a total of 28 inches. The bracelet is about 8 inches x 1 3/8 inches wide (when beads are placed side to side.) Earrings are approximately 1 inch with a 3/8 inch dome. Largest Lucite beads area about 17 millimeters x 15 millimeters. Weight is an impressive approximate 195 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All Lucite beads remain evenly white with bright sheen. Gold tone finishes intact. Some wear on necklace and bracelet clasp reverses. Stringing material shows some age commensurate color change. Some beads have light contact rings on ends. Necklace and bracelet stands appear secure. Clasps secure. Earring clips secure. Tassel crown and fringe free from damage. Excellent vintage.
All pieces are signed. The necklace on it's clasp: "TRIFARI". The bracelet on it's clasp: "TRIFARI" and each original earring clip: "TRIFARI" with copyright symbol. Design, materials, construction and marks indicate a 1955 to 1960's vintage.
