From 1960's vintage unused, new old stock. Major bling, Hollywood cocktail style ring from the golden age of rhinestones will garner attention at any event. Leafy spears in silver tone, each set with brilliant clear chaton rhinestones, are piled high for incredible detail and dimension with sparkle that rivals that of fine jewelry. Beautifully crafted and constructed, the ring features premium qualities including a band that adjusts from within, avoiding that messy, snag prone, inexpensive looking double shank overlap. Inside of ring, back of the dome, has a fancy cover plate that conceals adjustment shank and underside of dome. Top tier vintage costume. New old stock, looking like it came off the showroom floor.
The ring is adjustable. One side of band which has the excess shank concealed within the ring's dome portion, can be pushed in or out for adjustment. The band appears to optimally fit fingers sizes between 5 and 8 although it can accommodate additional sizes on either side. Face of the ring is an incredible 1 inch across with a 1/2 inch dome. Band width is approximately 3/16 inch. Weight of the ring is a substantial 24 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones intact and brilliant. No dark, cloudy or dead stones. All silver tone finish intact, front and back. Ring shank remains round with no dents or improper bends. Dome retains shape with no collapse. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Outstanding presentation.
The ring is not signed but is obviously of the highest quality.
