Popping with dual tone enamel colors we interpret as lime and chartreuse and blocked with ridged gold tone metal semi circles, this '60s- early'70s vintage Original By Robert clamper bracelet rocks nearly 50 years after it's creation. Top quality with rich, lustrous enamels in striking colors and substantial metal work, Original By Robert's bracelets rivaled those of comparable KJL's from the same period. Many, as the bracelet offered, were stamped with an inventory or identification number in conjunction with the maker's mark.
The clamper has an inside circumference of about 6 1/2 inches and measures approximately 2 1/4 inches across. Width is about 5/8 inch with a 1/4 inch wall or dome. Weight of the bracelet is approximately 56 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. Enamel intact, retaining spectacular, vibrant colors. There is one tiny piece of missing enamel (about 1/32 inch x 1/16 inch) near the very edge of bracelet that can be seen in one of the photographs. All gold tone finish intact, front and back. Bracelet retains proper alignment. No dents or improper bends. Hinge and push in box type clasp strong and secure. Extremely clean. No repairs.
Inside of bracelet is signed within the distinctive palette cartouche: "Original BY Robert" and copyright symbol. The bracelet is also stamped within a rectangular cartouche with the number: "027290".
