A 1950s-1960s vintage black beauty with the most gorgeous faceted jet black art glass stones in marquise and pear shapes accented with smoky quartz colored chaton rhinestones. Each stone is skillfully selected to fit into the leaf shape. Three stems culminate with art glass pears. All settings are bathed in lustrous black enamel. Quality and curb appeal surpasses most -- an attention getter in any circles.
The brooch measures an impressive approximate 4 inches x 2 inches at it's widest point with a 3/8 inch profile. Largest pears are about 17 millimeters x 12 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is approximately 34 grams.
Condition is excellent / pristine vintage. All components original and intact. All black art glass stones free from chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. Faceting and mirror like luster outstanding.
