Have some fun with your collection. Include Cadoro's enamel and cabochon brooch in outrageously stylish bold colors and patterns. Circa 1960s, the domed gold tone brooch with enamel in pink watermelon, is topped with a large oval cabochon in an olivine shade surrounded with brushed gold tone spiked cone work. The brooch is framed with bold gold tone roping. Cadoro was in business a relatively short time -- from about 1945 to the '80s. Inventory is limited.

The brooch measures about 2 1/4 inches x 2 inches with a generous 3/4 inch dome. The large oval cabochon is approximately 23 millimeters x 16 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is about 28 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact with no retouching. All enamel intact with vibrant pink watermelon color. Great gloss / sheen. Opaque olivine green cabochon free from chips, cracks or breaks. All gold tone finish intact, front and back. Pin shaft has very slight bend not affecting function. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs.

Reverse of brooch is signed within a rectangular cartouche: "CADORO" with copyright preceding.
