Measuring about 3 1/2 inches at center, this magnificent '50s vintage feather plume clamper bracelet in light gold tone will sweep you and your public into the clouds. Intricately cast with each strand gently swaying with the next, the plumes converge at center, sweeping gracefully up and down the wrist. The back hinged cuff also has the "lift" feathered plumes exhibit. It is beautifully sculpted and finished with a softly stippled interior. Back hinged is double riveted for added stability and durability.
The clamper meets at the middle with approximately 3 1/2 inches of width. The bracelet tapers at back to about 3/4 inch. Inside circumference will accommodate an approximate 6 1/2 inch to 7 inch wrist. The bracelet has a feather light look, yet is substantial at approximately 76 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. Bracelet retains slightly oval shape. Plumes remain swept together properly. Hinge back retains proper alignment and is strong and secure. Gold tone finish intact, outside and inside with very minor, negligible wear. No damage / no repairs. Please keep in mind that as with most vintage, it will not appear new.
The bracelet is not signed. Miriam Haskell did a similar feather brooch many of you are familiar with. The two would work wonderfully together. Of course, the bracelet headlines easily on it's own. No cameos, co-stars or extras needed. You'll be the main attraction at any event.
