All original and pristine. Wonderfully large and heavy '60s vintage Coro brooch glitters with ultra violet aurora borealis chaton rhinestones in a light goldtone leafy floral brooch. Exuberant and energetic with bold, sweeping curves and curls, the brooch's magnificent lines are augmented with a domed diamante dollop. A botanical beauty, striking in it's simplicity and structure.
The brooch measures an impressive approximate 2 1/2 inches x 2 inches with a 1/2 inch profile. Chatons are each about 3 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is approximately 30 grams.
Condition is excellent / pristine vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones maintain as new brilliance and color play. All light goldtone finish intact, front and back. Pin back straight, strong and secure. No dents or improper bends. No damage / no repairs / no resets. As fresh and clean as when created. Near mint.
Reverse of brooch is signed: "Coro" in familiar script with Pegasus and copyright symbol preceding. This mark is difficult to read since some Coro marks during this period were obscured in the process of casting. Those of you familiar with Coro will easily recognize their trademark.
Style and sparkle from Coro and Cody's. Vintage with vision.
