First created in 1967, Sarah Coventry's "Strawberry Festival" uses magnificent frosted, translucent, molded glass strawberries in radiant red. It was said that these stones were imported exclusively for Coventry. The berries glow and intensive as light and angle change. Each has the trademark strawberry texture with accompanying triple leaf cap. The brooch also includes light goldtone stems sparkling with ruby red rhinestone clusters.

The set includes the brooch, at approximately 2 1/4 inches x 1 7/8 inches with a 1/2 inch profile and the clip earrings, at about 7/8 inch x 3/4 inch x 1/2 inch. The set has been together since creation. Weight of the demi is approximately 45 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones intact with excellent color retention and brilliance. Glass strawberries retain outstanding color and glow. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. No compromise to translucence. Light goldtone finishes intact. There is some contact wear to reverses of earrings only. Fronts fine. Pin back and earring clips secure. No damage / no repairs.

All pieces signed. The brooch within a rectangular cartouche: "SARAH COV" with copyright symbol preceding. On each original earring clip: "SARAH COV" with copyright symbol preceding. (Earring signatures are very faint but are apparent.
