Rich coppery brass tone finished layered petals pop with citrine / topaz colored faceted glass stones in the 1930s-1940s vintage dress clip pair presented. With riveted construction and top quality metal work and unfoiled stones this pair reflects it's brawn and beauty. The golden topaz-citrine stones glow with the lustrous coppery finish of the folded streamlined petals. Suitable from am to pm.

Each clip measures approximately 1 5/8 inches across with a 3/8 inch profile or height. Faceted glass chatons are about 11 millimeters. Weight of the clip pair is 22.8 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. Multi pronged stones free of chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. Matched color and superb brilliance. No dents or improper bends to metal components. Lustrous golden finish intact, fronts and backs. No polishing done. Riveting secure. Clip paddles strong and secure with tight snap shut closure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.

Each clip is stamped on it's hinge mechanism twice with a utility patent number that corresponds to 1931-1932. Of course, the clips were probable made sometime after that -- we think late 1930s-1940s.
