If you like your vintage bracelets big, bold and bulky, this black beauty's for you. Totally tempting with huge round and oval faceted jet black glass stones encircled with faux seed pearls set in heavy silvertone metal, the bracelet is more of a story than a statement. Circa 1950s, the bracelet features engraved / embossed settings and connector links with a foldover clasp. Faux seed pearls frame four of the five glass stones. Two settings are hexagon shaped, two oval shaped and one round (center). All black glass stones are beautifully faceted with high luster. The mix of the silvertone metal, jet black stones and creamy faux pearls makes for one dynamic and dramatic bracelet. A standout in any crowd.
The link bracelet measures about 7 inches x 1 inch at it widest point with a 5/8 inch profile or height. Closure is by line etched foldover clasp. The largest center stone measures an incredible approximate 23 millimeters. Weight of the bracelet is about 66 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All black glass stones remain free from chips, nicks cracks or breaks. There may be some very tiny pin pricks, abrasions, and feathering at facet edges, appropriate with age. All faux seed pearls intact. There may be some minor nacre wear to some pearls. All silvertone finishes intact, front and back. Clasp secure. Please keep in mind that this is a vintage bracelet and it will not appear brand new. It has been appreciated and will show some wear. That said...it's presentation overshadows any imperfections. Truly a showstopper any day of the week.
