Exquisite Eisenberg earrings remind us of fine jewels by Cartier, Van Cleef, Chaumet and the like, circa 1940s. These high end luxury jewelers were using pave set diamonds, usually in platinum anchored with magnificent precious ruby, emerald, and sapphire gemstones. Of course, most of the GP could only dream of wearing these masterpieces. Eisenberg recognized the appeal and offered it's own interpretation, as in the pendant earrings presented. Wonderful leafy fronds, tulip tops, and diamond shaped connection bars are pave set with twinkling tiny clean chaton rhinestones. At center of pendant drop a simulated lustrous emerald cabochon rests, pronged, unfoiled and open back set. The French clip earrings are plated in rhodium, similar to platinum in color and luster.

The dangling earrings measure approximately 2 1/8 inches x 1 inch at their widest point. Imitation emerald cabs are about 15 millimeters x 10 millimeters. Tiny accent rhinestones are about 1 and 2 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair if 14.9 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All component original and intact. All rhinestones retain consistent sparkle. No dull, cloudy or dead stones. No dents or improper bends to metal components. All connections and findings original and correct. Earring remain aligned -- no twists or turns. Cabs retain lustrous emerald green color. No chips, nicks, crack or breaks. All rhodium plate intact. Earring clips strong and secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
