Two sizes of seventeen saw tooth bezel set molded / pressed glass rosettes, intricately carved in floral motifs, grace the large 1920-1930s vintage dress clip presented. The coral shades are complemented beautifully by the rich brass patina metal work. Cup and prong set imitation pearls glow along perimeter of circle. Reverse features incredible labor intensive housings, bracing and embossed long arm clip mechanism. We are unsure of the maker -- possibly European or American.

The clip measures an astounding three inches across with a maximum 1/2 inch profile or height. (Large clips were generally produced in singles; smaller, in pairs. Round rosette panels are about 12 and 17 millimeters. They are in closed back settings. Faux pearls are approximately 4 millimeters. Weight of the dress clip is 46.3 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All rosettes original and intact. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. Salmon / coral color difficult to accurately reproduce in images. Shading may vary in person. All simulated pearls intact, retaining nacre and luster. No peels, rubs or stains. Metal components retain shape and structure. Clip mechanism retains snap shut closure. Warm age acquired patina throughout. No polishing done. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.

The clip is not signed or signage is indiscernible. Circa 1920s-1930s.
