D & E's much loved heart scroll design lends a lacy, airy feel to it's domed rhinestone brooch and matching earrings set, circa 1960s. The company's signature navettes spike out adding the contrasting edge to the curvaceous scrolled hearts. At center of brooch a multi pronged chaton crowns, encircled by a collar of heart scrolls. Earrings are designed to be worn scrolls up.

The silver tone brooch measures approximately 2 1/2 inches across with a 1/2 inch dome. Clip earrings are about 1 inch x 5/8 inch. Brooch chatons are 6, 4 and 2 millimeters; earring chatons, 3 and 2 millimeters. Weight of the brooch and earrings set is 33 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones clear and sparkly. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones. No dents, improper bends or crush to metal components. All silver tone finish intact, fronts and backs. Pin mechanism and earring clips strong and secure. Clean. Excellent vintage.

The set is not signed. Distinctive design, materials and construction indicate DeLizza & Elster work. Circa 1960s.
