DeLIzza & Elster loved navettes and used them copiously in their lighter handed pieces as leaves, petals, sprays, rays and accents. In the gold tone brooch presented four petals / panels swirl and undulate aglitter with chaton rhinestones in wonderful autumnal colors of brown topaz and burst orange each topped with a larger olivine green chaton rhinestone. Sweeping sprays at ends glow with olivine green navettes. As usual, D & E provides us with the style, substance, shades and sparkle we love. Once loved, always loved.
The brooch measures approximately 2 3/4 inches x 2 inches with a 3/8 inch profile or height. Navettes are about 15 millimeters x 4 millimeters; chatons 9 and 3 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 24.9 grams.
Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All rhinestones retain colors and sparkle. No chips, nicks, cracks or breaks to stones. All secure within pronged settings. No dents or improper bends to metal components. All soldering secure. All gold tone finish intact, front and back. Pin mechanism secure. Clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.
