One of the most spectacular Hobé creations we have encountered in the business. Fantastic 1950s vintage stationary slide coat of arms bracelet exhibits strong Victorian influences with semi flexible double chain edges and ladder link center. A large embossed buckle swoosh umbrellas an azure blue (truth and loyalty), enamel shield (defense), golden lions (courage and valor) and golden crown (victory). Bracelet overlap end bar compliments in blue enamel with golden flourishes. A row of beaded fox tail fringe completes. Integrated box clasp secures. Matching French clip earrings feature complimenting blue enamel crests suspended with tassels of capped and beaded fox tail fringe. Hobé symbolizes the value of defending victory with courage and truth. A message that never ages or gets lost in translation.

The bracelet measures a fixed approximate 7 inches x 2 inches at it's widest point with a maximum 3/8 inch profile or height. Bracelet band is about 1 1/4 inches wide. Earring are approximately 2 1/2 inches long x 3/4 inch at their widest point. Weight of the bracelet (83.5 grams) and earrings (28.9 grams) set totals 112.4 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components original and intact. All gold tone finish intact, fronts and backs. There is some solder puddling on reverse -- we believe this to be original soldering for reinforcing overlap and crest portions to main band. It can be viewed in an image of the bracelet's reverse. All enamel intact with no chips, nicks, cracks or rubs. Consistent lustrous blue enamel. Links and soldering secure. Please note that stationary slide is decorative and does not adjust position. Crest falls at center of wrist while fringe drapes over side of wrist. Bracelet box clasp and French earring clips strong and secure. Clean. Excellent vintage.

Reverse of the bracelet's male end signed: "Hobé". The earrings are not signed but a definite match to the bracelet. Circa 1950s.
