The signature Selro look. Founder Paul Selenger focused on more artistic, unusual ideas rather than the regular fare of gender specific jewelry so popular during the time. Figurals as noh masks and faces, faces and more faces were popular designs. Confetti infused luminous cabochons accented with sparkling rhinestones were another Selro staple. Jewelry was scaled in a larger size and chunkier shape as exemplified in the silver tone earrings presented, circa 1950s. Bold, bowed branch settings support luminous iridescent icy blue oval cabochons cradled with a trio of sky blue chaton rhinestones. No mixed messages here.
The clip earrings measure a generous approximate 1 1/2 inches x 1 5/16 inches with a 1/4 inch profile or height. Oval glass cabs are about 25 millimeters x 18 millimeters; blue chaton rhinestones, 4 and 7 millimeters. Weight of the earrings pair is 25.2 grams. Note: The earrings are constructed to be worn with branches at base and oval north.
