Plus size may be an understatement for the magnificent 1950s-1969s vintage D & E rhinestone domed triangle brooch presented. Few are larger or present more brilliantly. DeLizza and Elster have pulled out all the stops to offer one of it's most fiery ices. Pure unabashed excess from a favorite maker.

The brooch measures a generous approximate 3 1/4 inches point to point with a maximum profile or height of 5/8 inch. Largest chatons are about 11 millimeters; marquises, 15 millimeters x 7 millimeters. Weight of the brooch is 48 grams.

Condition is excellent vintage. All components intact. All rhinestones intact and brilliant with no chips, nicks, cracks or breaks. All secure within pronged settings. All soldering secure. No dents, improper bends or crush to metal components. All lustrous silvery rhodium plate intact, front and back. Pin mechanism strong and secure. Extremely clean. No damage / no repairs. Excellent vintage.

D & E's pieces were not signed, except for perhaps paper tags. Our piece displays the signature characteristics of the firm including prominent figure 8 solder puddling, prong positioning in cup channel settings, workmanship and presentation. Circa 1950s-1960s.
